As someone who wears lighter jackets I was worried this would be too bulky for me but it isn’t, it is light and airy. The warmth is hard to describe, I can only say it is warm in a way that makes no sense. Safe to say it does not rely on masses of padding to work as it is very comfortably warm without the restrictive feeling of more conventional, heavy jackets. This jacket kept me toasty warm despite hours standing around outside in the night time air.
